物のレイアウトの配列を変えることが新しいデザインにならないかと思い“モワレ”というディスプレイ装置を考えた。
一定速度で動くワイヤーを二本張り、そのうち一本にジャケットやコート等をかけ、もう一方にはズボンやスカート等をかける。
そして床に設置するベルトコンベアーには靴やブーツを並べる。
これらにそれぞれの向きと速度を持たせて動かすことで、偶発的に何通りものコーディネートを生み、
ある時、ある組み合わせが、そこを通りかかった人のココロを鼓動させる。それは、人と人の出会いのような関係を人と服との間に構築する。

Does different layout arrangement produce new design?
Here is a new display system for more clothes combinations, or
Moiré combinations, rather.
Two wires moving at a certain speed.
Jackets and coats on one, and pants and skirts on the other.
Shoes and boots on a conveyor belt.
Each wire and belt has respective direction and speed for accidental numerous combinations.
Random combinations of the system inspire a person just happened to pass by.
This relationship between passersby and clothes is just like the one between you and me.
